China (now a threat since Clinton allowed his friends at the Loral Corp. to sell them top secret missile technology) is indeed spending a lot of money on a military build up. That does not mean that war is inevitable as Reagan showed us with the Soviet Union. But it is a cause for concern.
The bright light is the capitalism that China has allowed to flourish since socialism resulted in such primitive condition and chronic shortages. There is a newly emerging middle class. These people want the same things Americans want. They will soon be pressuring the government for more and more freedom. Once the the genie of liberty is let out of the bottle it will be damn near impossible to put back in. This could result in a whole new China, that is more of a market competitor than an enemy.
Time will tell.

In the years -2 PA... PS standing for Pre-Apocalypse, in the way BCE stands for Before Common Era.
In other words, about two years after we declare war on China, the world will be so devastated that we'll need to start counting with another calendar.

unless the financial elite sour with each other...it wont happen. there is too much money being made.
if it did happen, there would be missles and there would be nukes. if there was a "real" war, the U.S. will not lose.
i would be worried more about the harm the american military could produce than anything that china produce.
it could be quite scary...it is not something to even jest with. if the U.S. military wished to end humanity, it could do so...in a heartbeat. no question.

If we go to war with China, we have big problems ahead of us. For one China is the largest exporter in the world. Number two they out number us 10:1. Number three if we were to go to war with China almost all are allies would more than likely be cut off from there business ties to China, BAD NEWS FOR US! Number four, alot of other countries invest in China and their economy. If you think are allies are going to stand by our side while we help them lose billions of dollars in revenue, think again.
Just to name a few American companies that would loose billions in this deal are, UPS, FEDEX, DHL. And most big American companies would loose big. The over all loose on this would be in the Trillions of dollars! WAR WITH CHINA IS A BAD IDEA! China still has big ties to Russia. Even though Russia is just a former self of it's once large empire, this is any other problem to deal with. We can't even control things going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, what makes us think we could handle the largest populated country on the planet!?! We would suffer ourselves massive looses of revenue. Are taxes would obvious would go up to composite the loose of this important revenue.

the usa will never go to war with china.... simple reason, it would be pointless, much better awnser, and bush knows this, a truce. China will stop making polyester pants, tights, socks and underwear, wich will mean bush will have to make a truce, to turn on the cause of all problems... false religion. The chinese and the americans are just pawns in a game of chess they will both loose, mark these words... soon false religion including the catholic church will be decimated, leaving just one true religion, the only religion that wont fight, wont allow practicing gay members, wont allow mans ideas, who base their teachings solely on the bible and who practice what they preach.
When bush is stupid enough to attack them, gods steps in and bye bye bush. so the question is when will god go to war with satan and mankind? sooooooooon

Hopefully never, because that would be the end of the good ole USA. They had flooding in the three gorges region in the 90's the government sent 2 million troops to assist. They sent 2 million troops to disaster relief, that should give you an idea of the size of the chinese military.

I can't think of any reason to go to war with China. Because of our trade with China there would be no point to it
