Hi, you can take a coach or bus up to Thailand directly from Singapore. You can purchase the bus tickets at Golden Mile Complex. There are many agencies in the mall, all you need to do is find the cheaper ones and of course the more reliable bus services like Consortium, Grass Land & etc. Normally, each ticket only costs about $30 - $35 for 1-way trip, so probably a 2-way ticket costs about $50 - $60 only.

If you take train to Thailand, I think it is also possible but you need to change train service in KL and head directly to Thailand. Visit http://www.ktmb.com.my for more details on the tickets prices, availability & dates of arrival/departure.

Pls kindly visit http://www.streetdirectory.com for building location and http://www.smrt.com.sg & http://www.sbsbtransit.com.sg for public transportation.

Do you really need to ravel by road? This will be almost a full day travel, even by express coach. There are many budget airlines that you can get ticket cheap, like promotion rates at below S$100 even. And you arrive in 3 hours. Consider and check the budget airlines for promotions.
