You can't retire "regardless of finances"
You think someone should be able to retire at 50 without having saved any money???

Well, considering we are living to be much older, I consider 50 to be middle age, especially when people are living to be 120 years old. I can't really say how old you should be able to retire at, but I do think that people should be able to work for longer, instead of being forced to retire at a certain age by their employers.

You can retire anytime you wish bub...it's up to you how you want to live and on how much money you care to have at your disposal. Some poeple retire at 35 when they are pennyless others work until the reach 65 when soc security and mots pension plans kick in...it's our choice. There should be no freebie reitrement social program (other than soc sec) if that is what u r getting at.

Whenever you want to. Some people are ready to retire at forty, others want to keep going until they drop. We've all seen the stories at the papers about the 100 year old gentleman who still works at a garage.
