the best cure for this is confidence, and you get that through experience. There is a storey about Johnny Mathis, an absolutely stunning singer who was nervous almost to the point of vomiting on his television debut on the Ed Sullivan Show many many years ago. He was a SMASH!!!!!. Keep focused on what you are going to do, practise and most importantly relax and have fun. If you screw up, well maybe there will be another opportunity later on. Give it your best shot, but more than anything have fun, when the executives can see that you are having a ball, they will enjoy your performance all the better.

PLease do not think to rely on meds... of any kind. at times they can only diminish not help you to perform and then you could become too Dependant on . The risks out weight the benefits..Too many good performers have died depending on something as a crutch, .
You need to trust in yourself, your abilities and performance. Practice your technique, and perfect your performance.. then RELAX.
Even some of the top performers occasionally to regularly get "butterflies". It's is exciting to do what one loves to do.. isn't it?.. look at it that way.. not as fear.. fear never accomplishes anything.. it only holds us back..
Use positive statements, give yourself permission to fail.. i know that sounds weird.. but, it does take the pressure off. I sing too.. (Performed at Disney in past.) I got some wonderful advise once from a big name singer.. she told me "then don't sing" What:???.. not sing.. i thought at first "did she hear me".. it wasn't that i didn't want to sing, i too was having some problems dealing with .. I came to realize that that was just what i needed to hear..
I love singing more than not singing.. and , no one , not even me, was going to take that away.. Great things come when you just know you aren't perfect, but you can achieve to perfect what you are doing and love.. You'll reach higher and higher without the stress..I hit notes i never thought i could.. just do the best you can.. no one can expect more than that , if you know you are doing that. Use your weak areas as a challenge to strengthen rather than fear . A vibrato can be an asset.
Face head on any fears.. perform more in front of those you don't know.. it helps too to desensitize.. Hypnosis might help.. i have used it..Great way to find the core of your fear.. Confidence comes from within, not from the outside in anyway or form. Good luck.!!. remember you wouldn't have the opportunity to audition unless they felt you had the ability ..

ok first thing is first.... you don't hope that you are a good singer.... you know that you are..(there is nothing wrong with that) second I have a little trick that might help you... before i go on stage or to an audition or something i always say a poem that i know to myself... it doesn't matter what you pick it could be a song lyric or just something that means something to you that doesn't have anything to do with the audition..... that takes your mind out of the stress of the sitiuation just for a monent and then take a few deep breathes .... that seems to do it for me... good luck
