-----I think CO (Carbon Monoxide) makes the blood even more red than O2 (Oxygen). I have a degree in biology--efective minor chenistry--but I got the above fact from the fiction book "Coma", written by a doctor. They made the book into a movie, which I have not seen. In the book, bad guys were killing the brain with CO, then harvesting the organs at their leasure, the brain being the most sensitive organ to lack of oxygen. ---Jim
