The cord that goes to the plug on my PS2 controller is coming loose and the controller is not working correctly. I want to take the plug apart to fix it. There are no screws so I cannot see how to take it apart...is it just held together with clips? If so, can I just pry it apart?

Just break it open and put it back together with tape. Worked for me.

most likely as with most electronic plugs they are moulded and not intended to be taken apart to be fixed. This is a problem when things are mass produced and in a competative market.People want them as cheap as they can get them but what we don't realize is that it is usually at the expence of more costly repairs or buying replacemnet parts...Lets
