And, how dare you Jacob for calling me and my fellow Americans who are Democrat or liberal un-American, traitors to our country, support terrorism, etc. Again, I am giving you all a dose of your own medicine and you have proved you are just as offended as I am.

Some individuals, yes. But don't blame the entire conservative movement for the actions of a few fanatics.

Anyone who denies the Constitution, and tries to subvert the core principles this country was founded upon is Anti-American.

Sadly, that derangement is not limited to any one political or social group, and can be found at both ends of the spectrum.

They have the same rights that libs do. Protesting is a form of free speech in this country. They are exercising their freedoms just as the libs are by protesting the war. Protesting the anti-war protestors makes them every bit American as those who do not believe in the war. It does not make them un-American. It would be un-American to deny them their right to protest. What makes you think that cons don't support our Constitution?

I am a conservative and I have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. How dare you make such an unsupportable charge? If the people who protest are socialists bent on overthrowing my government and our Constitution then they will have to get past me first. Here is a little life lesson, Missy. Go to the next large protest rally and ask them where you go to join the socialist party. I bet you will have no trouble finding a booth there ready to sign you up.

Socialists are un-American. That is what it means to be a Socialist.

No more so than the liberals. They don't support the constitution either, especially the Second Amendment. They've been trying to wipe that one out for years, quite successfully too. Fortunately, now the conservative courts are starting to overturn the gun bans. So who's un-American depends on whether you're looking at the situation from the left or the right!

If by con you mean the right-wing fringe, rather than real conservatives--absolutely. These people have gone far beyond simply having a different opinion. They openly advocate abolishing civil liberties and civil rights (except for themselves, of course), including freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the right to due process, etc.

And that is, indeed, unAmerican. But--they have the right to voice their opinion. Let them--they are onl discrediting themselves.

And every time they respond to criticism by saying that "you are denying my right to speak"--remind them that everyone else also has the right to speek their minds--and that includes telling the "cons" exactly what you think of them!

CC, One thing I have learned in my years is that giving one "a dose of his own medicine" gets you nowhere. You stoop to the level of the other person in so doing and never accomplish anything. Try saying something constructive please.

Let met get this straight. If protesters rally against the war that is OK, but if conservatives rally against protesters and stage an opposing protest that is wrong? I have every right to rally against what I disagree with, and I disagree with anti-war protesters, so there for I can have my own protest.
