hi ! i have a big group of best friends . 2 girls in my group of friends are really close. i really like them and enjoy spending time with them. how can i get a lot closer to them, but without me always calling them to do things.

p.s. - i can talk to them at school anytime and i do, i just dont seem to get that close to them, like they are with each other. and they arn't just bf's cause they have known each other forever - they just started really hanging out a lot last year.

thankx !!!!!

Invite them out, pay for them, cook for them, and then wait.
if they don't come close, then find new ones.

Maybe they have already formed a best friend bond and adding another person to the mix would cause hurt feelings for one or both of them. Whatever you do, don't be desperate and follow them around like a puppy dog. Try to get them interested in some activities that you set up. If they show up great, if not, oh well.

first off-same name! haha
well i think i know what your trying to say and i have that same situation. There are 2 girls in my group who are OBSESSED with each other and everyone else is just like...okay why dont they just run off and get married or something. Well what we have learned to do is to separate them when we hang out. Or we will hang out with one of them every once in a while so then we get closer to each one and they learn they can have fun without babysitting eachother 24/7

It's ok to call them to hang out on your free time. If there really your friends they should be glad that you are. dont be naggy though, try calling them a few times a week to hang out. if you feel like your getting good feedback then just give it time. friendships dont develope overnight. if you feel like there pushing you away then they're not good friends and you should hang out with nicer people.

ask them for advice and open up your world to them and hopefully they will reciporcate.
whatever you do, do NOT talk about one to the other.
If you are ever told something from one about the other do not repeat it!
Do not say a negative comment, three is usually a crowd
