ok im on the part where you have to block the beams of light coming from the big statues eyes to put down the sheild. not the first one, but the second one, where one of the statues is missing a shield. i have beaten the guy that goes invisable and gotten his shield, i put it on the statue, and put it on the platfrom that you raise up to block the light, but everytime i go up to the lever and use it, it says YOU ARE DEAD, and i cant go on. i need help

I have encountered the same stupid problem, the problem isn't with the process, it just seems like some major glitch
I tried 80 different ways to do it and each time the turnbuckle goes so far and it even came to the point i would stop pushing it and jump away and no matter what I still died even if i was 50 feet away from it.
We both know we need to do the shield thing, the problem is getting that damn bridge up, its impossible if you die everytime you so much as puch the turnbuckle more than a foot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: So I swapped out the disc for another copy and still encountered the same problem, so it seems the problem is not the disc. After eliminating some oter things I am now going to start the game over from anew and try again..... sucks that is so far in the game.

Ok you need to be fast
On the right side there is a spot you can Clime up you will see a statue that you can place the shield. Push the statue to the ground and push it on that platform that u bring up to the furthest beam away from the lever. right after it goes up you need to quickly clime up the ladder and block the other beam with the block you unlocked to send the attack back to the enemy . Do that to the statue and send the beam back at the statue.

once you put the shield on the statue you move the statue into the square slot on the raiseable bridge. You then hit lever to raise it up and have it block one eye...then you use the stone and jump up to the eye beam level and use fleece to reflect the other beam.
However sounds like you got a bad copy or a corrupted memory file..I would swap out the game disc and if doesn't help erase file and restart and if happens look into memory card/game system trouble

On the side of the walls there are ladders that you can climb, go up there and you should see a stature with a shield drag it to where the beam is it will stop it and there should be another one on the other side to.

I BEAT the game on ez and have a bad glitch restart the lv over that to me 2

you need to replace your copy. I have a glitch of my own the icarus glitch.This game is just full of glitches.Try restarting the game from the beginning or reloading. or try loading data from other gamers.
