i'm doing a work for my school, and i'm really interested about stoping global warming because in the future, if i ever get to have kids, i don't want them to suffer the consequences that unconcious people will leave for everyone; so if i know how can we ALL help and how can we make a "better" atmosphere, i think its benefits will be great for people all over the world. I Got SHOCKED when i saw the "AN UNCONVENIENT TRUTH" By Al Gore, because i had never heard before somebody talking so honestly and showing real proofs about what's gonna happen to the world if we don't help to stop global warming; i also got shocked when i saw the "The Day After Tomorrow" Film, 'cause even it exagerates the way world be, it is very realistic. please, let's make something good for our planet. It will be reflected some years ahead.

We may not stop global warming but we can SLOW it down significantly. However, if we don't do anything, by 2050, we would spew out 2.6 gigatons of carbon emissions in the U.S.

Here are things to do to overall reduce it to 0.8 gigatons in 2050:
1. Building more energy efficient heating and cooling systems.
2. Building more bulidings that uses far less energy. This would mean using solar power on roofs, double non-adjacent layered windows.
3. Driving hybrids and fuel cells.
4. Designing cities so they will be able to have mass transit systems like subways. Also, designing more efficient big rigs.
5. Relying more on renewable energy like wind and biofuels.
6. Storing excess carbon from power plants and industrial activities.

So, if we do these six things, by 2050, we would have reduced the carbon emissions from 2.6 gigatons of carbon emissions to 0.8. This is LESS than the current U.S. emission of 1.8 gigaton. This makes a BIG SIGNIFICANCE because of our choices. This also shows how powerful we are.

Note: This is just an estimate and doesn't include the increased reliance on cell phones, Internet, teleconferencing, and other advanced communications. Also, it does not include the carbon offsets by planting trees. It would probably be LESS than 0.8 gigatons.

think for in basic terms a 2d or 3... that the international warming it is supposedly going on in the final two decades, (reason in accordance to the comparable scientists, we've been working headlong into an iceage for the period of the late 70's early eighty's) is quite a organic fluctuation of radiant warmth from the solar.... what precisely do you intend to do approximately it? this could be a living environment that we are in.. and its no longer a closed one. something from everywhere can replace your comfortable little international in a moments be conscious. Dont beleive me? Ask the Dinosaurs. What we do in it makes little distinction in the long-term. All issues stability out in the tip. If that balancing demands a mass extinction, as has happend many situations before, there is no longer something TO be achieved approximately it. This planet will renew itself, and yet another speicies will like cream, upward thrust to the suitable and proceed on...

Your watching to many propaganda films. The only way to stop global warming is to turn off the sun, and we cant do that can we? Be a good steward of what you have and stop believing all that dribble from the environmental communist, or at least look into it from both sides.
