because there's a lot of songs i'm looking for and the only websites that have them i'd have to pay for them but i'd like to get them for free

You are looking for the wrong kind of music fist off, Most of the time people do not pass around sheet music an less it is a formal deal. They use tabs for stringed instruments. So look for tabs. Just do a search for guitar tabs and you should see a bunch of sites. the other thing is I do not know if they have the same thing that would be on the actual sheet music. You will have to learn tablature but it only takes a couple of minutes. Some of the music is for bass etc but there is mostly guitar tabs on these sites.
