me and my gf had sex with a condom, but it broke, and a minute or so later i noticed and pulled out. i was not close to ejaculating and i had not ejaculated within 24 hours of the incident, and urinated several times before we had sex. when i pulld out i noticed there was a little precum on my penis.... does that mean it did not get in my girlfriend??

Don't worry. Unprotected sex does not immediately mean impregnation. There are several factors to consider with the most important being how close she was to ovulation when this occurred. Sperm can live in a hostile environment, like the uterus, for up to 72 hours. Women tend to ovulate at the middle of their cycle, so about 2 weeks from menstration, for about 3 days. So, add in a "safety" margin of error of say 2 days and you have about 10 or 11 "risky" days each month on and around the time of her ovulating.

Now, granted that yes, it really only does take one sperm, let's look at how that one sperm has to get there. During insemination the immediate bulk of sperm are sacraficed for the sake of pH. That is to say, several millions of sperm die to create an initial buffer to make the vagina and uterus more hospitible. Next, as the rest start "swimming" the preseminal fluid de-congeles to aid in maintaining a hospitible pH in the woman and they start to spread out in search of the egg (assumming it is present from ovulation). About 50% of the sperm released are already incapable of movement due to incomplete formation. Another 10-25% are not chemotaxically active, that is even if the egg was right in front of them, they couldn't find it. Of the remaining 25%, about half of those are thought to be unable to penetrate the egg if they could find it. Take into consideration the proportionally vast distance sperm have to travel -- vagina, cervix, uterus, fellopian tube -- a large percentage of the remaining sperm will not survive the journey. So, only a small fraction of what goes in has the potential to do anything.

Finally, if fertilization does occur, then about 70-75% of all embryos are spontaneously terminated (miscarried) before the woman will even know she's pregnant. Then if it makes it past that a full term pregnancy is less than 50%. It's a miracle we're even born at all!

So, if you got a little pre-come in your girlfriend, I definitely wouldn't sweat it. But I would suggest being much more carefull in the future because it really only does take one.

it most likely got in her at least a little bit but i wouldnt be too worried about anything unless a month down the road her period has gone missing.im just glad your smart enough to actually use protection rather than all these 13 yr olds getting knocked up and expecting us to work harder so they can raise a baby all alone. well good luck to you and your girl <3

u release millions of sperm when you ejaculate and it only takes one to make a baby
i dont mean to sound scary but there is every possibility that those circumstances can create a pregnancy
if that happens u always get her the morning after pill its there for a reason
