original xbox live?

ok i have an original xbox and want to know about live... im gettin a 360 soon so i don need a long plan fo the original xbox live mayb about 4 months....me and my friend wanna split original live.... i was wondering if we both split it.. and we both used it... wud we be able to play each other if we used the same acount... any ideas of what i should do?

You can transfer your existing account from the original Xbox to the 360, so get an account for as long as you want from the start. I don't know much about sharing accounts though.
