Ignorance is bliss! Plus you asked for peoples opinion and they responded probably out of a love of their team....seems reasonable to me. How many people laughed last year when faithful Tiger fans said they were going to play in the World Series? That is the beauty of baseball...anything can and usually does happen. So instead of bashing them just smile and wish your team well and let everyone else root for their selected team. Even both Marlin fans....wait make that 3, I will jump on their bandwagon too...they havent lost a regular season game yet this year and are loaded with talented kids!

if the braves do make the playoffs, then cox will definatly be manager of the year. They have a young team, but with so much going on around them cox will have to keep his players focused, they are not nearly as talented as they were 5 years ago. Their roster is thin and they are definatly a sleeper team, so if cox does anything with them he will definatly be in the running. But for me i say look for Charlie Manual to take the Philies deep into the playoffs, he has a better group of guys then in past years, id be suprised if the best race come fall wast the mets and phils for the NL east.

I agree with you. Actually its 90% of all sports fans. totally uninformed but have an opinion. But yeah cox is good but come on the 90s are over. the braves are just an avg team now. If the braves win the series then I guess Cox would be.

Bobby Cox has no chance to win the award because his team is gonna finish in 3rd or 4th place.
I suggest it will be Willie Randolph in the NL and Ron Gardenhire in the AL

if you might not like the answer, or if you've already made up your mind, why ask the question? every team has a chance to make the playoffs. these guys aren't in MLB just because their jobs at the local supermarket fell through. the answer (i hope) is Jim Leyland. that guy could get elected governor of Michigan if he wanted to

Truthfully, if the Cubs get anywhere near first place, Lou Pinella will get it, and this is comming from a Giants fan.

Actually, you answered the question in your answer... they are fools... fools I say. The Maytag dishwasher goes to Lou in the NL and Jim in the AL
