I used to have a plant book that was taller with 4 flip pages devided into quarters on one one page. You could look at a varity of smaller plants on the bottom section, then flip the next quarter of the page to a different plant a little taller and so on so you ened up with 4 different pages to look at one one page. I loved this book but loaned it out and haven't seen it for years. I would love to replace it, anyone seen anything like this or have any ideas where I could find such a thing. I could have sworn it was called The Gardeners Palette but when I look that up its not even close to the book I remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's possible you had an earlier version of the Gardeners Palette. You could try a used bookstore. Most have a huge gardening section.

Abe's has some copies of an old one but no pics. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?&isbn=0385233574&nsa=1

I personally use Wyman's Garden Ency. as a reference point for research. There is a new email address for additional info throught the internet (it is at my office). This book is about $60 at Border's, however, it contains references and cross references to every plant, in every region, for the US and England. Good Luck.

Try and remember where you purchased it, hopefully they still might sell it. Do you remember who you lent it to? I hate it when people dont give things back, i think its stealing, Sorry I wasnt much help. I hope you find the book your after! Good Luck!
