The jelly shoes and leg warmers, haha ...around 1985-1986 was pretty cool.
Foam-in temprary hair color. You could choose from about 10 different shades, but unless you were blonde, only the darker ones made a noticable difference in your hair color. Washed out in one shampoo, but was permanent everywhere else(hands, towels, shower curtain, clothing, pillow case etc...)
You would take a tshirt and cut it so that it would hang off the shoulder.
Jean Jacket...dark and light colors - even white. In the late 80's, was popular to write on them (favorite musicians, other teenie expressions)
All the girls wore slouch sock in a multitude of colors all at the same time! The socks were usually layered up your leg (of course over stretch pants) and the more socks you wore at the same time the better. The only trick... Getting your foot into your LA Gear High Tops... Complete with 3 or 4 sets of laces. :o)
Two toned beaded necklace.... remember these long beaded necklaces that hung down to your waist and were two different colors. Mine was yellow done one side and white down the other. They were worn with the long, button down shirts w/tail, and co-oridinating leggins
Bandana....Besides the ones around the knee, guys used to also roll these up and wear them like a big necklace. They also used to tie them around one or both wrists, sometimes over the hand area as well.
Gloves with the fingers cut off. Could be in many colors and different faborics. Could be extra long so they may cover the wrist or half of the fore-arm.
Friendship pins....Safety pins with beads or fuzzy things on them...worn on running shoes.
Lace socks or stockings to go with your oversized shrit that you wore for a dress and your white heels.
