The answer given was, of course, Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews. The problem was, people tried to answer from text, but did not give the actual LATIN answer. I took eight years of the stuff!. INRI, are the Initials. Jesu Nazari Regnum Juda. THE CORRECT ANSWER!!!!

Well, it might not be good to correct one error with another.

INRI stands for: Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Iudaeorvm.

Using the 'J' and the 'U' of later times, it is: Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum.

"Nazari" may be translated as a genitve 'of Nazareth', but the word has come down as 'Nazarenus - also meaning 'of Nazareth'

'Regnum' is 'Kingdom", not 'king', which is 'Rex'

'Juda' is just off base. The area was the Roman province of Judaea (or Iudaea), and the word would have to be in gentive singular form - Judaeorum.

Regarding correcting incorrect best answers, it's best to either let it go, or you can post the same question, and select the correct answer yourself. Yes, it's annoying when an incorrect answer is picked as best, but it happens all the time. You can't let it get to you!
