The Dictionary, Great Expectations, Gone With The Wind (and the saddest part is I read them for fun) As far as the Good Book goes, I only hang out in the New Testament...the old one's too scary for me.

The Bible.

I actually read it twice. Once to read it and again to try to understand it.

I understand what it was trying to say, I just don't believe most of it to be true.

Anyone who wants to quote the Bible as a means of speaking against homosexuality, pre-marital sex, interracial dating, abortion should read he book in it's entirety and take the time to absorb what it's saying. It contradicts itself SEVERAL times on many subjects including those listed above.

I just don't believe it to be true. I think it was written by man as a means of controlling people then translated and re-translated over the years to where it doesn't mean anything anymore.

Just be good to one another. If you're good to one another, God will understand anything you've done wrong in your own life.

in a single volume, the complete works of mark twain. i read wee bits at a time in bed, and that probably took about 4 months to get through, but so very enjoyable.
