It has improved my life. I have made many friends around the country because of it. i have found friends that I had lost touch with as well. When I was alone and pregnant, i joined a message board on AOL and I had the most wonderful support group ever and they were my source of comfort and knowledge. I ended up on a television show because of my involvement in that support group. My newborn baby and i were flown to Virginia to meet moms that I had become close to and it was all filmed for TV. Two months later, AOL flew my son and I to one of their VIP events in New York City to celebrate the launch of their new version of AOL.
I also met my current boyfriend through the internet. I had never *dated* online or really met anyone through the internet, but two weeks after joining Myspace two years ago, I met him and we hit it off immediately and we've been inseperable ever since. We live together now.
It's also cause me problems. The same way it's brough me joy it's brought me sadness. I've had problems with friends online, I've had my share of drama online, and I've found things that I shouldn't have online. It's all too much to go into here but let's just say it's juicy enough to open up my own juice bar!
And has it distracted me???? GOODNESS!!!! Can you say 10 hour marathons??? Yeah i've done them...with only potty breaks in between. I've been hooked, addicted, but I'm proud to say I can break the habit when I need to.
I've never really fought with anyone in my house over its use, although i've irritated some and others have irritated me...but oh well!
I think it's made me smarter. I know a lot more because of everything I've learned on here. A lot of my less internet saavy friends call me the Internet Queen when I know that I'm no where near that, but I do know my way around here. You just have to take advantage of how resourceful the internet is! come on people...the internet is powerful...we now have the world at our fingertips...it's a very powerful thing.

Yes it has. There is so many content on it for whatever purpose. Learning, having fun, and doing heaps of other things online. Some people can use what Inyernet has to offer in a better way then the others, but the point is that Internet has changed the world in general in both bad and a good ways.

It has changed me +vely.Anyone answering u -vely is a fool and using the net in a wrong way.It lets u do works at ur room n if that's why u r going to be lazy then go to the physical trainer who wouldn't let u be lazy.
One thing,there r no. of articles on the net that can misguide u regarding anything.So, think twice before trusting n be smarter.......richer................................not lazier..........poorer.

"our handwriting was as unique as we were" I find that suspicious simply because teachers work very hard to prevent that, for whatever reason. But anyway, I think the internet motivates people to become more literate to some degree, and makes information accessible to people that wouldn't be willing to work to seek it out. Plus its a good place to learn about current developments which would take longer if you had to wait fo a book or television.

yah internet do help me to solve alot of thing. i most of the time use it as reseach work and also to surf net to catch the latest news and updated news from local nst.com.my or over sea side.
time spend infront computer are more and more nowaday, as we can do alot of thing, even pays our bill of phone, electric, banking services all can be done using internet.
our M'sia gov had a "Push" plan to impliment out ICT goal for MyICMS 886 (www.mcmc.gov.my) and click on the right banner for info. which drow up a master plan for future ICT in M'sia
i feel that internet has become a part of my life nowaday. even not at home i will use Hand phone to get online using a JAVA base WEB Browser that Opera Mini V3.1

Ok the internet has made me lazy i used to go to the libary if i wonted to find somthing out or look in a recipie book but now i just click a few buttons and its done. and yes my mum trys to use my latpop because its faster but i have to take it off her
its made me richer because off ebay.co.uk
allthough its made me lazier its really good and its there within a click

smarter, richer, more time wasted, homework done easily...it hasn't improved my life b/c ive never known a time with out it lol but i sell thrift store ....antiques on ebay lol
