How do yall girls prepare to take pretty pictures?I'm not talking about getting all dolled up.Just ready.?

How can I take prettier pictures,I always look really bad,and I'm a pretty girl,but the pictures dont show that AT ALL! I have a really special person that wants to see what I look like,but he lives many miles away,and that only leaves taking pictures as an option.I dont want to send him bad pictures of myself,but I just cant seem to take good ones.Anyone know a quick tip to make me look decent in pictures?

try taking your own pic with a digital camera to see what angle works best for you. try not to take the pic dead on your face, maybe turn your head to the side or down a bit. try to find the best lighting, lights straight from above usually doesn't look all that attractive.
