whats all this talk about the raiders might not take jamarcus rusel first? whats that crap they are saying the raiders might take a reciever instead calvin johnson i think was his name..but they already have randy moss they just need someone to throw to him....ur thoughts?

First of All Randy Moss is not getting traded to the Packers
The Raiders are going to trade with Detroit and also get a second round pick or an offensive lineman. Lions aren't sold on Joe Thomas (hell if I know why he's 6'6 311 and runs a 4.8) and want a QB. with the Browns possibly looking to draft Quinn now they are going to move up and pick Russell who could actually do good in their system (but would suck for the Raiders with their horrible OL). Porter is not getting traded and the new coach loves him. The Raiders will pick Johnson with the 3rd pick and just beef up their OL. This will let their running be much better with a healthy Jordan and new signs of Rhodes and Griffith.
The new coach is smart and hes not going to let Al Davis bully him into picking some bum QB that end up being a tim couch

Well they most likely will take JaMarcus Russel. There has been speculation they will trade Randy moss to Green Bay and draft Calvin Johnson ( the best player overall in the draft). The only way that would happen is if they get a quarterback in free agency and the only one who is available is Trent Green. If the raiders got Trent Green they would draft Calvin Johnson (has been called a Randy moss and T.O. clone). that would give them Trent Green and Calvin Johnson and Joey Porter as their wide receivers.
JaMarcus Russel wont live up to the hype and has only been considered a number one pick after LSU's bowl game win. He is overrated and will not be that great... best thing to do is trade for a quarterback and draft Calvin Johnson

Randy Moss is gone. He will be with the Packers or Chiefs by the end of the week. Calvin Johnson could develop into a Randy Moss (in his glory years), But I still think Russel is going to be the Raiders pick.

If I was the Raiders I would take Brady Quinn over both Jamarcus Russell and Calvin Johnson.

okay newsflash buddy..... Randy Moss is going to the Packers. God I hope the raiders dont take Calvin Johnson I like him and his career and his potential would be wasted in that dump. I also like Jamarcus Russell why can't the raiders take like Brandon Meriweather or something? I would hate to end up in Oakland.

The best thing for the Raiders to do is trade down a pick or two... Teams will trade alot for the first round pick... they will still end up getting Quinn or Russell with out the first round... Moss probably will not go any where... no one wants his problems and to pay him his money

Russel is good, but without guys to block for him, the raiders are not that good. They now have a good running back, but if they want to win, they gonna need some guys on the line in the next 2 or 3 rounds.

Al Davis is an idiot, so who knows what they'll do. I think if they are smart, they'll pick up Jamarcus Russel. The guy looks like an animal. He reminds me of Vince Young.
