Set a password for you to logon and also on your screensaver so you must enter the password to bring your computer out of standby.

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Users
"change the way users logon or off"

For the screensaver
right-click on the desktop

You can set a password so other can't log onto your Account. Just go to Start, Control Panel, User Accounts, click on your account and Create A Password.

Always could create separate accounts from Windows98 and restrict access of others.

Caveat though, you can not keep this secret. Your IP will show up in searches, and your provider will have records of where you have been. So better make it adult XXX sites that you go to.
