Nothing is bad about Communism in its pure form. However you are an extremely ignorant person who gives a bad name to all people Communist.
In pure Communism there is no leader so you have already contradicted yourself. You said that a world dictator is needed now however that is the opposite of what Communism is supposed to be. Maybe I'll refresh your memory so you know what you are talking about.
Firstly in pure Communism the workers have power over the state, THE WORKERS. This is the basic idea of Communism. That there is no rich and no poor.
True Capitalism is a better economic system for an economy for a whole, however it is not neccesarily good for the average worker. This is where Socialism comes in. It taxes the rich and poor according to how much they make. Unlike in America where the rich are given tax breaks and the poor are left to pick up the tab. In America 5% of the population holds 60% of its wealth. Does that seem fair to you, God bless America for sure! Sure Capitalist nations look like they have more GDP than Socialist nations, which is true. However the money is held in the hands of a few rather than in the hands of all.
Now a good economic system is a Socialist democratic state. In which many services are controled and provided by the government, eg post office, healthcare, car manufacturing, ect. This will provide that the companies do not take advantage of their employees or consumers. The government must include many democratically elected officials to insure that the government does not become corrupt.
The kind of Communism you suggest is the kind similar to the Soviet Union, wich in economic terms was a "degenerated workers state, and in know way, shape, or form Communistic.
I hope I have cleared up a few things for you so you can now actually talk about things you are mildly intelligent about.

Because communism is socialism that aims to achieve its means by FORCE. Karl Marx got his idea for communism observing ants, a highly efficient species, but a purely instinctive creature. If you were to implement communism in the human race, in order to work it would require every person to give up all individualism and become perfectly conditioned and realize that everything one must do must be for the good of society, just as the ant does, say when male ants submit to having their heads chopped off after the queen has been impregnated. Do you think people are willing to give up their lives so easily for everyone else without any benefit to themselves. Think again, we are all individuals, there is no going back to pure instinct. And that my commie friend, is why communism is so wrong, because its entire premise is based upon an ant, something much too different than its human counterparts. Marx just extrapolated his findings a little too far.

Communism is an economic model, not a political or govt model.
Communism means community (or govt) ownership of property, rather than private ownership of property. And it's commonly practiced in every country -- the typical traditional family operates on a communist model, where the parents (govt) own the house and the bank accounts and the family (community) uses the property according to their individual needs.
Communism works fine when it is voluntary. It fails, when it is forced. And the only countries to try communism as a national economic model have also been totalitarian regimes, and tried to force people to use that model.
But that was a problem with tyranny, not with the economic model itself.

In true communism there are no leaders, everyone just does what needs to get done. The problem is it's very easy for a small group to take control and turn it into something like a dictatorship instead, they may still call it communism but it really isn't. The other problem is there's no real way to decide what actually needs doing in a true commune, if it doesn't degrade into a dictatorship it will usually turn into something more like a socialistic republic.

yes, that is right...people, spelling ids the issue here.
communication is about being understood not about spelling and grammar.
It was not until the invention of the printing press that a need was felt for universal spelling. And now people without any other recourse can be insulting when they have no other discourse... nothing to offer in a debate,
- Cristal.
Don't get her started..... while my sis puts the soapbox away, I would like to ad that communism is practiced in any country that has ANY social program for the collective well being of people. EG: insurance, health care...or any benefit paid into collectively so any ONE person can receive it's resources.

I can answer that with a question. What is wrong with murder?
Communism (Socialism) has been tried many times. Each time millions of people are murdered by the Communist Dictator.
Humans prosper under freedom, especially economic freedom. It makes more sense to let the people be free and feed themselves, than to kill them or let them starve.
Why do we have to continually repeat this experiment? Only an idiot would keep repeating the same experiment expecting a different result!

Communism worked well in convents and monasteries--nothing was "owned" by the individuals, and all was shared based on need. It would work well, as an economic system, if we were more highly evolved as a species. But, alas, we are still too greedy and in need of "pats on the back" (by way of individual ownership of "riches").
In a world as rich as this one, if we all worked to our best ability, and shared the wealth, we woulod ALL be comfortable and well-fed. Too much like Heaven????
But, I wouldn't worry too much about it any more--even Communist China is turning to capitalism, and turning into our greatest "enemy", though we can't seem to see the forrest for the Iraqs......

I lived in communism and I can tell u it suckz! U don't have freedom of speech, propaganda is everywhere, no access to any information. U have to do only what the party tells u and at one point u become like a robot doing the same routine everyday. Democracy has it's flaws but communism is hardly the solution.

So you seek to suborn your free will to a dictator. Communism is contrary to human nature therefore doomed to fail. Have you noticed that all communist governments eventually devolve into states of poverty, the masses starve under it's yoke. Once there is nothing left for the unproductive state to steal they Begin to cannibalize their own citizens. This meets my definition of bad
