When I was a little girl, my grandfather taught me this splendid way to "Let Go & Let God". You write a letter to God, stating what has happened and how difficult it is for you to deal with it. You sign it, and then mail it to God by burning it in the sink. Very soon, the matter was replaced by a better situation. Have faith, Mia. :o)

One would need to totally consume your mind with something else. As long as you are continually in a position to think about what you need to let go, its going to be hard to do so. Deny yourself of that thing you need to let go of. Hang out with friends more, put extra work in on your job, dedicate more time to your children or husband if its applicable, dedicate more time to servicing the community until you've gotten to the point where you feel like that thing you need to let go of is in the past.

Hope this was helpful.

My father will have passed on six years the 24 of this month. People who tell me to "let it go" have NO clue what losing someone close to you is like. If they did they would say,"You can never let it go, you just learn to live with it." So that is what I do each and every day, I live with it.

You can't just let something go when it's bothering you. Time heals everything, just wait it out, you'll be fine. Keep yourself busy in the meantime.

I'm sorry, but if something is really bothering you, I don't think you could ever really let it go. Just pray that maybe you won't think so much about whatever is bothering you so much.

Process? No process. Just decide it doesn't matter so much anymore.
