This is what we look like in Mexico like those in telenovelas?

Did you know that in Mexico we have people that look like those in telenovelas?? I read comments by people that argue that people in Mexico don't look like that in telenovelas. Then check webiste out of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico:

Please do not assume that only the rich in Mexico look like that. Because in the remote areas there are poor mexicans living in adobe houses that also look like that. Example, a blonde, green eyed mexican girls living in adobe houses in the remote areas where I have been.

We have a lot of variety and in the telenovelas there are dark mexicans like Pilar Montenegro, Patty Monterola, Fernando Calunga and so on.

There is a lot of intermarrying between spanish looking mexicans and indian looking mexicans.

Yeah I believe you, I am Mexican and I am white and well most of the (ignorant) people assume that Mexican people is just brown skinned or india you know what I mean.

Well, Mexicans can come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. My parents are from Jalisco.....my mom's side of the family is all white but some have brown hair, some have black hair and some are blond. Some have black eyes, some have brown eyes, some have green eyes, and so on. My dad's side of the family is half brown skinned and half white. It's cool being Mexican because there are so many combinations. I've noticed that people who make stupid comments usually have never traveled farther than their own backyard.

My husband is from Tijuana Mexico and his cousins who also live right by the border all have green eyes - well a lot of them, and they're not rich they sell stuff at the border. But his immidiate family all has brown eyes and dark hair and dark skin but I'm white w/ green/blue eyes and all 3 of our kids have brown eyes and hair but my daughter has blond highlights and dark brown skin - really pretty. The brown gene is more powerfull I think.
