In general it is advisable to leave them on. You should be sure to change the default log in passwords on all networking devices to prevent hacker access.

I tend to leave mine on, as I have had the occasional problem where the DNS settings have not been correctly reset.

Of course, we are encouraged to switch off all electrical applicance to save enery (money and the planet!).

If you want to you can, I personally do, but others don't.
If your setup includes other computers wirelessly networked to it, if you turn them off, they won't be able to connect to internet...
Personal choice in the end.

no reason to if they are not overheating they will be fine
