I actually read a book about this and was successful having a son. I'm so sorry that I can't remember the name of the book as it was several years ago. Anyhow, here's some of the things to know. Male sperms need to be deeper to have more of a chance to make it to the final destination. The best way to accomplish this is if the man enters from behind. Thus the sperm to do not have to swim as far. Another thing was the type of underwear the man wears. If he wears boxers or briefs. This has something to do with body heat. Avoid body heat--have him wear boxers. Also, one more big thing. The more orgasms or more intense orgasms for the female the better chance for a boy.

Woah.. people calm down. She didn't say she didn't want a girl, she sounds like she just would love to have a boy. I am in the same situation, however it would be our first. There are several things that can increase your chances of having a boy.. but in reality, it's still just luck.
-Have orgasms.. female orgasms produce fluid that increase the alkalinity in the vagina/cervix which is better environment for boy sperm
-Have the male drink a cafinated beverage before the big deed.
--Have an orgasm after him also... the spasms in the cervix help the sperm move through
--Doggie style deposit the sperm closer to the cervix
--Use some kind of ovulation monitor, i am using the clearblue easy one and love it. It tells you when you ovulate.. you should abstain from sex up till ovulation, then do it every day for a few days..
Female sperm live longer, but are slower. Boys die quicker, but are fast.. so you don't want to have sex 5 days before ovulation, then not again.. becuase there will ONLY be girl sperm left in there.. best of luck to you!

No there is NOTHING. Unless your partner has all of the female chromosomes surgically removed from the sperm in his testicles therefore only having sperm carrying male chromosomes. If you really want only a boy then your best bet would be to adopt one.

Being able to get the desired gender by using certain positions or having sex on certain days is an old wive's tale. It simply depends on his swimmers and which one makes it there first.

you should be more concered about having a healthy baby than to be concerned with gender. i want a boy as well but lets face it we have to take the 50 50 chance.

there is honestly nothing that you can, it is the man's sperm that does it and there is no telling unless you take out a sperm, have it tested and then shot into you by a doctor, they do that.
