The washer will go through all the phases but when it comes to draining it, it won't. I washed a rug in it (I have done it before and no problems) BUT this time the rug feel apart, so I know that it is clogging the pump. I just dont kwon where to find the pump. I need to know where to locate it and how to take it apart to clean out the junk in there.

the pump is located on the bottom of the tub, you may have to lay the washer on it's side to find it, it usually has two hoses connected to it, and it is attached to the bottom of the motor with two clips, just unhook the hoses, pop the clips loose and the pump will fall right off, make sure you unplug your machine before working on it to prevent electrical shock. it is not hard to do. good luck..
