Because some people still feel uncomfortable talking about cultural differences....Some of you don't get it, shallow people
If they didn't like it; the comedian wouldn't have a job.
If you don't like it don't watch; stop complaining already!

That's a rather small percentage of Black comedians that do that though. Some of them are rather successful in spite of it; Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor, Chris Tucker, etc. But the ones that do it are equal opportunity haters and are quick to show how hypocritical and equally aggrevating blacks are as well.
About the most politically correct of Black comedians I think you'll find is Bill Cosby. Though he appeared in a lot of blaxploitation movies playing ignorant, on stage he presented his jokes in a way that did talk about those issues, though he found a way to do it that didn't digress into actually saying, "black this", or "white that". At the same time, behind closed doors he did a lot for civil rights causes and was rather serious about us getting ahead and being treated with respect; even now, though most are irate with the way that he is going about it, he still hasn't changed.
On the other hand, if you look at Richard Pryor there was always some context to what he was saying; and you can see a lot of that in Dave Chappelle. It's just that back in those days you couldn't be as mean and as blunt about your own race as Chappelle is, though I doubt that if Pryor were in his prime now, as opposed to then, that he wouldn't have done the same. You should look at those tapes again and take into consideration what black comedians are saying in their entirely, not just the empty jokes about sex and ignorance. There is a lot of irony in those jokes and they typically ring true because it is not so much what the comedian is saying, but how the audience can relate to it because their experiences are so similiar; they can see it from that point of view. Plenty of white comedians have racial jokes told from their point of view as well, and it is just as funny; I don't find anything offensive about it. It is all in how you go about it and if you have any taste, or are just rude and mean ...

It is crazy how we as black people will get on a stage and talk about white people but as soon as a white person even thinks about saying negative we are ready to fight. But at the same time we talk about ourselves, making jokes about how poor we are and are lazy or what have you. Then we turn around and expect to get respect from other races. How can others respect our race when we don't even respect it. How many times have you heard comedians say "n**** this n**** that" but when the guy from Seinfeld said it we were ready to raise hell. I am not bashing our black comedians because laughing is good for the soul. All I am saying is there are other things we can talk about besides the negative stereotypes that are already put on black people.

i so hear you....maybe if white people did like black people...cry everytime someone says a racist joke...maybe the GOV would give white people the same cultural rights as black people get. To me i don't see how racisim can be one sided...when almost ever black comedian make millions off of jokes about white people....that i just don't get...i am black/white......and I hate it with the passion
