She's not really a close friend but she's still a friend. I'm kinda nervous. We're in highschool.

I'm scared her water might break on the bus or something.
So if she does start to have her baby at school, on the bus, or when I'm around her...what can I do to help?

The dad goes to the other campus of our school. He doesn't drive I think because he rides the bus with her.

Have you tried talking to her? While I understand your concern and see why you'd ask, it would be better if you let her know that you're concerned about her and that you want her to know that if there is anything you can do for her, to let you know. The water breaking is just one of many pregnancy side effects. She could also start getting labor pains without her water breaking. Because there are many different ways labor can begin, and also because there are so many things to deal with, with pregnancy, sometimes it helps just knowing that if you need someone, that someone is there. Let her know that you are there if she needs you and let her make the decision to reach out to you. It would probably be really great of you to let her know that she's not alone and if something scary does happen (not that it is scary, but it might be for her being her first time) that you can have a clear head about things and help her anyway you can.

I just gave birth to my second 1 week ago. Having someone there for you is a wonderful thing.

In case that does happen you really shuldn't panic her water might not break right away but as soon as she feels contractions she needs to tell some one like a teacher bus driver nurse some one that knows what to do. You have to keep her calm cause most likely she will be nervous. I doubt it will happen at school so dont stress.

don't worry about her water breaking, only 15 % of women's water breaks on their own, most women's water break by the doctor breaking it when she's in labor. she'll be a lot calmer than you probably ad won't make it a huge deal. thta's good that you care though. Just try to keep her calm and not so worried:)

dont even worry if shes not that close of a friend. its nice of you to care about her but she should have been responsible and now she has to deal with it and trust me she wont be able to walk or move none the less go to school when her waters about to break or is going into labor .good luck
