FIRE AND ICE
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Acquainted With the Night
Poem lyrics of Acquainted With the Night by Robert Frost.
I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain - and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.
I have looked down the saddest city lane.
I have passed by the watchman on his beat
And dropped my eyes, unwilling to explain.
I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet
When far away an interrupted cry
Came over houses from another street,
But not to call me back or say good-bye;
And further still at an unearthly height,
One luminary clock against the sky
Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right.
I have been one acquainted with the night.

A patch of old snow.
There's a patch of old snow in a corner
That I should have guessed
Was a blow-away paper the rain
Had brought to rest.
It is speckled with grime as if
Small print overspread it,
The news of a day I've forgotten -
If I ever read it.
End.
What an opportunity to do a short film using only person. Think about it.
Thanks for the opportunity to share.

My favorite short Robert Frost poem is also one of my favorite poems ever:
Forgive, O Lord
my little tricks on Thee.
And I'll forgive
Thy great big one on me.

the oven bird, it's only 12 lines long. fire and ice is even shorter, 9 really short lines. you can go to this website and look at all his poems so you can choose the best one that will suit your needs.

Bravado
Have I not walked without an upward look
Of caution under stars that very well
Might not have missed me when they shot and fell ?
It was a risk I had to take -- and took.
