Practical? Not really, but anything is possible.

You have to make it worthwhile and at a per-cost basis.

Finding free computer parts is not easy. I have found computer parts before and I still have them. The problem is that they are 500 mhz pentium II machines that still have Windows 95 and 98 on them. That isn't going anywhere in today's market. It'll get you about $20, if that.

I'd say for you to just try it and then see how it works with just one or two computers. But remember that when you sell PCs, people will come back and complain and yell that their PC isn't working right because YOU broke it, not their dumb selves who don't know how to use a computer.

Creating a real business can relate to lots of hard work, time constraints, and lots of up-front money. If you have that, which you don't because of school being in the way, then you can try it. First, wait until the summer break.

peoples trust might be sceptical to see that 13 year old are doing this and people will defenetly not trust you. i am in houston texas and i do the same thing and waht i recomend is that you branch off another busness and then build up your clintell and so that ou have a stedy flow of money and that you never end up in a tight situation. thats wht i did and i am preaty comfortable right ow. but in trutht there is not a lot of money in the computer repair busneess. you need something else.

Put up signs around - if people want to throw out their computers then you take it off their hands for cheap - usually they'll still be in working condition and won't require that much fixing. The challenge is can you sell them for profit? If you want you could try it a few times and see if its feasible. Also try schools or workplaces who are likely to throw out their computers when they get better systems. good luck..

Um... no.

First of all you need a good client base and you need to know people in the industry to get ahead, second of all you can't spell practical. Two thirteen year olds wouldn't have the experience for this to work properly.
