I'm having a lot of trouble finding a designer doorbell push button.
A majority of wireless doorbells have tacky, plastic push buttons but i need to find an elegent, elaborate push button that is suitable that is compatible with a wierless doorbell.
Suitable for a Mayfair property basically.

Many thanks...

You can use a Friedland transmitter/extender,(D934 or D971) which you can mount anywhere, and connect to any push button. I have fitted loads of these, you will of course have to use a compatible chime/receiver, which are coded.

This is going to be a tricky one. The cheap, tacky plastic push button actually houses the wireless transmitter. Unless you have a good understanding of electronics it would not be wise to modify it. My thoughts are - get an elaborate big bell-push and adapt the mechanism so that it fits over the plastic transmitter button and, when pushed, operates the button; i.e. the big button pushes the little one. Hope this helps.

Don`t get a wireless doorbell. The scally`s will prise off the bellpush then hide around the corner pressing it. There again it will keep you on your toes.

I just looked in Wilkinsons and they were all pretty much cheap plastic things, so I wouldn't rush there.

Good luck! Rob
