I agree with Switzerland and Lichtenstein. Vietnam and the Philippines are actually very safe countries to live in and travel around.
The USA actually is that bad. Statistically it is one of the most dangerous countries in the world, but many US Americans live in denial about that one.

id say us there is alot of smaller more formed countries out there but the us isnt too bad i dont live in fear you hear about it but its not that bad here(lived in a small town of 12,000 people(seems like a big number but not really mostly old folks) and (currently in a city of 3/4 of a million)

Nunavut is very safe place crime wise as well as Greenland, Egypt, Iran and northern areas of Russia mainland/islands. There culture makes theses places very safe. (Nepal is having bloody civil war and there no lack of guns there.)
