Buy some tea tree shampoo & conditioner and go through your hair. Shampoo it as normal but when applying the conditioner, leave it in your hair and use the comb to get the headlice out then, then wash your hair. Don't worry though, it's a common problem.
Also, your friend - tell her gently that you've heard rumours that she has nits in her hair and tell her how to treat them.
Hope this helped

there are many ways to get rid of your lice. you can go to walmart and get this shampoo that says RID on it. there are instructions on how to use it on the shampoo.on the instructions it will say to wash out and when you do you need to keep your head up and eyes closed cuz if it gets into ur eyes and can do some major damage! another way is mayonaise! yes, it actually works. you probably would use a whole jar if your hair is thick. you put the mayonaise all over your head and rub it in. you then cover it in wrap and wait for about 20 mins then you wash it out. i would consider using RID becouse the mayonaise leaves a nasty smell in your hair for about 1-2 days. now to deal with your friend. in class you should just be talking to her and then just say i think theres a bug in your hair. or you and your other friend should just tell her nicely and suggest what i just told you and be cool about it and dont freak out. hope it goes ok!

The best way to get rid of Head lice is with a product from any pharmacy called titri oil (I think that's how it is spelled) (pronounced; tee-tree.) Just wash your hair a few times with it and they usually go. Make sure any clothing / bedding is changed so the bugs don't re-infect. What we did with our kids to prevent the problem arising from school contact is we added a few drops of titri oil into their shampoo to prevent the problem. Be aware that the product itself realy stinks but only when wet.
As for your friend, first you should let the teacher / school know. This is a very common hygiene issue in schools and the only way to rid it is for people to be aware it is a problem. Your friend needs to know, This is not likely something that she caused but came into contact without knowing.

You should first go to Walgreen's are some where like that and get something for your hair to treat lice then you have to just tell her that you have been seeing them in her hair when your in class then remind her that her Lil brother did have them and she could have got them tell her you had to buy something for your hair if she would like to get some if she's a friend everything will be fine if not she wasn't your friend anyway and she is the one that gave them to you

I used to have lice when i was like 5. And, to tell you the truth. you can't see headlice without a flashlight, and you staring directly into her sclap. Anyway, if you want to know how to treat this i know the perfect solution. Crisco and Krosine, mix them together it will make a pink kinda fluffy look. Put it on your sclap and wrap a towl around it. This should burn all of the lice bugs and burn the babies its having, this really really really works. None of the treatments or shampoos i used, didn't really work. But if she tries this. She wont have any more bugs. I promise you that!
I really hope i helped.

To get rid of your "HeadLice" you could go to your nearest store such as Target of something like that.Go to the hair supplies section and you will find a bottle of the brand "RID" it works to.I had it and got rid of it by using RID.There are different kinds of shampoo for lice.Read the directions though.
Tell your friend that she should use a lice comb and go through her hair.Lice spreads really fast.Really really..

go to yr teacher and tell her that you found little bugs in yr hair and that you treated it but you think other kids might have it 2
and then the teacher will take all the kids in the classroom to the nurses office and everyone will be inspected
because theese bugs if you dont treat them they spread and anyone can have them
its verry important that you tell yr teacher
to treat the nits go to the pharmacy and ask someone they will surely know what to do

Talk to her where no one else will hear you ... its embarrasing but unfortuantely its one of those things that almost everyone gets at some point in their lives she may not know she has them my daughter got them because someone kept sending their child to school with them because its embarassing to call a school and tell them because they have to tell the WHOLE class because they do spread and quickly they are an easy enough problem to get rid of if you alert her immediately
