i had a dream..i was in my car i have now driving down a very familiar road and then slammed on brakes cuz i saw an accident ahead (semi and cars) and i couldn't stop i just kept sliding. it was in color and i didn't see any faces of people.the truck was red and my car is burgandy. i woke up before i hit the semi.

It might mean something like don't get to complacent in familiar places or situations. The whole color thing in the dream addresses the age-old question as to whether you dream in color or black-and-white; there are people that argue for color, and there are people that say black-and-white; they're entitled to believe what they wish to, but I had a dream quite a few years ago that I was helping to build a pre-fab hospital unit and somone stabbed me in the chest. There wasn't any pain in the dream, but I remember that someone put a rubberized compression bandage on the wound and it started to swell like a balloon. And that swelling bandage was RED. I know what I believe.

Maybe in life you are going too fast and need to slow down a bit, but you're having trouble with it (since you lost control of the brakes). Your brain may be saying that it's time to take control or else it may have a "Crash" at the end, although that crash has not happened yet.

Car accidents, cliff jumping and death dreams the result of our subconscious mind working on answering our questions or solving a problem we have.

I could mean that your losing control of your life, the fact that you could not see any of the peoples faces in the dream, means that the dream is about you.
