Most of the stores in my area, middle Georgia, are all saying they won't be getting any in till April, is this the case for everyone, and why so?

It's not the case up here in Wisconsin, it might just be the fact that the Wii is so popular that the production factories cannot keep up with the demand.
Also, it is possible that the place you are checking gets some in and they sell right away.

I live in North Carolina, and several stores here have plenty of systems left. It may be because they just didnt sell well here. I live in a military town, and most of the people bought PS3's and XBOX360's. I had heard there was a huge sellout in other cities, and other states, and that most shipments were sent to those cities so that more people can buy them. Your best bet if you want to get a Wii is to go into the bigger cities, and try to buy one there. Or you could wait until mid april and get on then. But your stores should have a Wii or 2 in by the end of this month, maybe even before if the shipments go out like they are supposed to. I hope that helps you. Have a good day

During Christmas time when I told my boyfriend I wanted to by a Wii, he told me stores in my area wouldn't be restocking Wiis until around March or April because they sold all of their Wiis. Wiis were long anticipated and people everywhere were anxious to get their hands on one. In fact, they still are. All of the things you can do on a Wii make it like nothing before it. Therefore, Nintendo was short on stock compared to everyone that wanted one and store ran out in no time. For now, do what I'm doing and play it at a friends house!!

They need to order new ones...and all stores are crazy about the money-making Wii they order it...so probably your town put a order and they will soon be on the way...I have a Wii too its awesome.Have Fun!
