Terra means "land". Nova means "New". But I really have no idea what Terra Nova means, could be anything. You make that up?

Terra Nova; litterally, 'New Earth', though can be interpreted to mean 'new land' or 'new world'.
In the same vein Terra Nullius is 'No man's land'.

'Terra Nova' is Latin.
'Terra' means 'LAND'
'Nova' means 'NEW'
So the phrase means 'New Land'.
A similar phrase on old maps is 'Terra Incognita'.
This means 'Unknown Land' that is land that has not been explored.
