I use that on every college paper I write and never get docked points for it being wrong, actually I had a professor that told the class about this website. All you have to do is pick the type of source you are using (i.e. book, web page, etc) and fill in the boxes they give you and hit submit and they will do the rest. Then you copy and paste the citation into your paper, change the font and you are all done. Takes like 5 minutes at the most.

It's just as simple as knowing the author's last name and the page number that you got the information from. Here are some examples.

I hope this helps!

MLA Citation Examples

The Modern Language Association (MLA) Style is widely used for identifying research sources. In MLA style you briefly credit sources with parenthetical citations (in parenthesis) in the text of your paper, and give the complete description of each source in your Works Cited list. The Works Cited list, or Bibliography, is a list of all the sources used in your paper, arranged alphabetically by author's last name, or when there is no author, by the first word of the title (except A, An or The). [5.1-5.5]

For example:
In the text of your paper:

The first gambling Web site appeared in 1995, and on line gambling has since become the most
lucrative Internet business (Will 92).
or,
George Will reported that in 2002 Internet gambling surpassed pornography to become the
Inter net's most lucrative business (92).

In your Works Cited list:
Will, George F. "Electronic Morphine." Newsweek 25 Nov. 2002: 92.

MLA refers to the Modern Language Association," which is a professional community of people who work in the fields of language and literature.

I am not sure why a science project would be written in MLA format.

Nevertheless, the teacher will probably go over the style guide with you.

i in my opinion don't comprehend why different ppl care approximately somebody else's spelling. I write incorrectly each and every of the time on objective because of the fact this is internet and not a spelling bee or an essay. If i'm no longer getting a grade, then who provides a flying ****? I sort the quickest way a possibility. Ppl who make exciting of others for spelling probably have not got the different insult. Lame.
