Read "Grendel" by John Gardner. It's the telling of the Beowulf story, except from the perspective of the "monster" who's actually a highly-intelligent but misunderstood creature...like me. :(

Seriously, though, it's beautifully written, and I usually don't read fiction. It's literature and storytelling at their best - and it's even educational: besides for the history value, "Beowulf" is a seminal text since it's consider to be the first piece of English lit; "Grendel" puts that story in a new light.

I've read a lot of great books but i have to say that my favorite series is Harry Potter and my favorite book is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone.

Ohhhh I LOVE books!!!

My absolute favorite is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It's a classic.

has to be my 1895 edition of Robert Brownings Complete Works...#1 because he's my faverite poet #2 It's my oldest book!

I love to read. The more I read the more my favorite seems to change. I cant just choose one. Difficult question.

I'm partial to "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. It's got everything. Political coups, green-skinned people, magic, tyrants...it's good stuff.
