Yes, you can use your.........refrdgerator. Put the computer on one of the shelves. The monitor may have to go up on top. As an added bonus, you'll be doing your part to stop global warming while you use your computer with the fridge door open.

Not a good idea because of the condensation! It will produce water in the computer and, as you should know, water and electronics do not mix!
I have had problems with the temp of my PC and this is what I did to solve them:
1.) Put your PC on the floor! Heat rises so it is naturally cooler on the floor.
2.) Do not enclose your PC in a desk that has a dedicated space for it. Most of the time there is not enough airflow.
3.) Buy an all metal case. They don't always look so hot and are kinda big but the size helps improve airflow and the metal stays cooler than plastic models. My case is a Cooler Master.
4.) Invest in a copper fan for your CPU. It runs better and allows more air flow. Also, be sure to use that gooey white stuff (I can't remember the name - something thermal) when you put on your fan. This prevents the two hot metals from transmitting heat to each other.
These remedies work for me and I hope they will work for you! Good luck!

sounds dangerous and sketchy to me. Why not just place your computer under the above AC vent fan, turn off most of the lights around you and close your windows and use insulated draperies, and do your work on the computer during the cooler hours like middle of the night.

Not a good idea. The main reason why your computer overheats is more than likely the processor has dust on it. To help keep your computer cool, use a computer cleaner.

If you go to Circuit City or Best Buy, they can help you out as well.

Nope, unfortunately :(

I had thought of this idea, but then i thought that condensation would form on the heated components anf fry your computer. Water on a circuit board = a very bad thing.

lison. they all say it cant be done and that condensation will hurt it. but i laugh at then bucause i ran a pc in the fridge it would overheat to fast o i ran it in the fridge for about 2 days just enough to salvage all my info. so i say its not a permanent solution but jut temp. and i laugh at all of you who follow the rules of science and nature.

Just buy a new fan (or clean the inside of the pc if you haven't already did) or paint it blue and throw it to the sea :)

It depends. If you have a computer that can withstand the cold, try it. If not, try a fan in the room.
