I'm not sure if it is Analogue because I thought that referred to clocks?

"Analogue" is the short, simple and correct answer.

If the equipment we use to weigh things on has a moveable pointer then, as such, they are analogue.

But, if you go into a kitchen or bathroom shop and ask for analogue scales they might not immediately understand what you want. The terms more normally used would possibly be "electronic" for digital and "mechanical" for analogue.

ANALOGUE.A clock face with hands is called analogue because a circular disk(clock face)is taken and understood by us all to represent 12 hours. It is not time itself;is it?Nor is the angular distance between (say)1and 2 only understood to be one hour;depending on which hand you look at it could be 5 minutes,5 seconds or something else on a stopwatch
