The grandmother shouldn't have the baby because she wasn't much of a mother when Anna Nicole was alive. What makes anybody think she would have a grandmother. The father is Birkhead because Anna knew he couldn't take care of the baby the way Stern could. That's the reason she put Stern down as father on the birthcertificate. I'll just be glad when the whole thing is over with and the baby can finally get settled into a home life, whoever and where ever it may be. If I was the baby I would want to stay in the Bahamas, sure not Texas.

I would give a paternity test and whoever turned out to be the baby's father would get not only custody, but full control of all estate matters as well. We all know Anna is rolling over in her grave at the thought of her mother getting custody of the baby. Not gonna happen though. The father is perfectly capable of caring for her. He even went shopping for her last Wed. I would never suggest a third party adopt the child. Larry Birkhead has fought since before her birth to care for her. It's obvious he wants to own up to his responsibility. Once H.K.S. is arrested, he will have no choice but to turn the baby over to her father.

I would figure out who is the biological parent, and keep him under close watch by social services.

This child sprung out of a situation involving more than one man, drugs, alcohol, and an unstable legal situation.

Not a good start in life. Although Birkhead seems like a sweet guy, I wouldn't turn him loose and say you are free to go, until proven otherwise.

Any inheritance, and any debts should go directly to the next of kin, *the baby* and put into trust for her until she becomes of age.

The father and the mother were not married, so the father should not be next of kin.

Anna Nicole was smarter than people give her credit for.

Paternity testing on all potential fathers then decided what is the best interest of Dannielynn. Award custody if the father is a good father and not out for the money! It would be very hard I am glad I am not the judge who will have the burden to decide Dannielynn's fate!

first I would have the judge handling the marshall matter disavow the inheritence, seeing as all the real litigants are dead, and the baby has nothing to really do with that, then see which one of these sick, yes sick people would still really want to take care of the baby. As for purely legal standpoint the biological dad if deemed fit should have custody.

The biological father has first claim. That's the way I understand the law and unless there is damn good reason not to (a welfare of the child issue) I can't see any reason, morally or legally, to deny him custody.

The only reason this is an issue at all is the $$$$$$$$$$.

A simple blood test is all it would take. May the best man win. One thing though, We must also find out if Stern killed both mother and daughter, don't trust that greasy snake.
