studied there. There are plenty of choices for a 45-day stay. It ultimately boils to down to your budget. I mean how much are you willing to pay for a room? or do you plan to get a studio type unit?
I suggest you give yourself time and walk around the area, the nearest your area to the univ the more expensive it is.
You can start at the vito cruz area (torre lorenzo, cityland condos), then leon guinto area (dorms aplenty) then walk yourself to taft avenue (near the univ of course) there are room for rents/condo units and even apartments.
btw, the side of ST. SCHO manila near Angelo king center has a lot of rm for rent/dorm with a daily/monthly/annual rates. Just not sure if it's open for the male species. ST. SCHO after all is an exclusive sch for the ladies =)

if you know some former barristas from your school they would help you.
if you've got a frat or sorority, i know they have places alloted for their brods and sis.
better scout for hotels near DLSU now - jasmin hotel is one of them. have to book early because it would be really full by then. goodluck.
