Your 15s would give you 12 points, the runs would give you 18 points, pairs would give you 6 on 7s and 2 on 8s, giving a total of 38 points. Good hand.

Okay... Cribbage hands have 5 cards... This isn't a valid hand.
But if it were:
Fifteens: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
Pair: 14
Pair Royal: 20
Runs of three: 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38.
I see 38.

777 is trips - 6 pts
88 is a pair - 2 pts
678 is a 3 card run - 3 pts * 6 = 18 pts
(there are six ways to make 678 with these cards)
78 is 15 for 2 pts * 6 = 12 pts
(there are 6 ways to make 78 here)
6 + 2 + 18 + 12 = 38 pts
There is no way you can possibly have a flush with these cards, so that is your answer

I'm getting rusty, haven't played in a while. I know the 15's add up to 12 but the run is giving me some grief. I'm going to have to guess and say it's worth 17 points. Total for the hand is 29?
OK, 2nd guess...the run is worth 14 points so the total is 26 points....ok now I'm done.
