I hope a lot of people on FaceBook use Yahoo Answers.
So, I was looking around because I wanted to make a group and make sure that I wasn't copying anybody. Then, I found a group called "Facebook Sells Your Information" or something along the lines of that. I went to Privacy, and scrolled down, and found out that certain applications can use my whole profile to get information on me. Already, one application was ni there so I removed it, then I unchecked all the boxes of what applications can see.
My question is, Facebook says they don't sell our info, and that its only there for applications, but what does this mean?
Here are my core questions:
What applications is FaceBook talking about?
What was their reason for putting it there?
Why haven't they made it really known to everyone about this? (Because the group was very small, and I never saw a notice about it. Someone would have had to go to Privacy to see it"
And should we be mad about this?
