Considering Cameron has been given many opportunities to endorse Culpepper as his "man" at QB and so far he has avoided every question about him my guess is he believes what the Vikings already knew...Culpepper is not the answer at QB. Cameron is a QB genius...among his pupils are none other that Tom brady, Drew Brees (who by the way when all the naysayers were bashing his lack of size cameron still suggested it would be a good pick!) and Philip Rivers (again when consulted about dealing away Eli Mannings rights Cam said this kid could play!). If he thinks Brady Quinn is the answer the Dolphin faithful should embrace the idea....unless they enjoy bad QBs who have failed this team miserably. He is freinds with Weis and has a good read on Quinn so if he thinks Quinn is the right guy for his system then he would do well to move up into the Lions spot and grab him. Quinn seems to be this years Lienart....I think the Cardinals wouldnt mind thanking everyone for letting him slide. It is almost funny listening to people who let their hatred or passion for a guy dictate why they think he will be great or suck (yea i am referring to the Troy Smith fans...would love to sit with a group of them as he slides right into the Sunday portion of the draft). What Quinn did at ND has no bearing on his pro ability....Brady couldnt even hold down the starting job at the U of M half the time (some guy named Drew Henson was supposed to be the next Johnny Unitas) but I think he turned out okay for a 6th rounder. So to answer you...yes i do think the Dolphins will make a strong bid to move up and draft Quinn, why else would Cameron avoid questions about Culpepper (unless he thinks Cleo Lemon is the answer)?

It would only make sense if Calvin Johnson is available. The Dolphins are not taking a QB even if Quinn falls to them. Culpepper still has a lot left, and they are not ready to give up on him for one crappy, injury filled season. I think they stay put and draft either Alan Branch or LaRon Landry.

While Culpepper is not the answer, getting a young, unproven QB to put in behind their o-line will not help either. Levi Brown should still be available. Cleo Lemon has some starts, and should be that much better when training camp starts.

i agree with white sox, we saw this in the sugarbowl (it think it was) when Norte Dame was smacked by LSU. I think Brady Quinn is destined for the Danny Wuerfel route, have incredible stats in college but suck in the NFL due to lack of competition.

but back to the question at hand, I think that the dolphins should stay where they are because their will still be very good players available at their pick. If they are interested in an OT Joe Thomas will most likely not be available but they can still pick up Levi Brown who could be just as good.

Good question. I think it only makes sense if they don't have to give up much to move up. Calvin Johnson would be a great addition and they could maybe get him by dealing with Cleveland. Problem is Cleveland is going to want too much to move up. Quinn would be a great addition to a Cam Cameron team (accurate, smart quarteback) but again I think they are going to have to give up too much to get him. Drew Stanton in the second round or possibly trading up for late in the first, might be a good way to go.

both a million. Russell Okung OT Oklahoma state (the lions O -line is garbage) OR 2. Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma. The Rams may be stupid to bypass on Suh. dont assume them to. I did listen that if the Rams take Suh, the Lions may commerce down

good to see another dolphin fan :) well anyways the dolphins picked up culpepper last year so i would say no culpepper is good for another three years at least so maybe a back up running back and some speicial teams

I dont understand why people make such a big deal over Brady Quinn. Why, because he can play good against the worst teams in COLLEGE football? He hasnt proven himself, he cant read Defenses, and he cant play good against good teams, or under pressure.

it would foolish on their part to trade basically their entire draft to move up to draft a QB after they paid culpepper. i think miami is fine where they are now. they can still get levi brown to help their oline.

No unless you want a receiver or runningback. They don't need a QB..even though Daunte won't ever be as mobile as he once was.
