and wat if u lift em wrong??how do u properly lift dummbells??i lift em STANDIN UP IS THAT A PROPER WAY??if not can i kno how ..i am 15 years of age

No, weight lifting will not stunt your growth or hurt you so long as you do the exercises properly.

Weightlifting is all about tiring out your muscles so they're forced to repair themselves and get larger to cope with the stress - do it wrong and you either won't get stronger or you'll hurt yourself.

If you lift too much it may cause a growth point injury. You can get strong and look good safely. Avoid joint pain, this is bad. Stop and rest and lower the weight permanently if you have joint pain. At least until you are done growing. Muscle pain is what you want.

Yes it can because it may cause back pian in the future and at your age your still growing. Id say wait till your 18 to start building your body and its better to lift weights sittung down.

See your friendly neighborhood coach or professional gym, if there is one like Gold's Gym in your area. Otherwise, see your football coach at school. (You ARE in school, aren't you?) :-)
