Back about 8-10 years I used to play microsoft flight simulator WWII version. When I joind a group to play over the internet they would always have "No MODS", and I would ask what that meant but I could never get a serious answer. Anyway, this has bugged me for 8-10 years, and I don't want to die with this unsnswered question. I'm not dying that I know of anytime soon, but still, who knows how much time i have to find out.

That means that the internet server you were playing on didn't allow and third-party modifications to the game. People have created Mods for virtually any game out there to do everything from give them new stuff to do, to make them faster and stronger in multiplayer games. The servers you were playing on evidently included protections from such people by disallowing all mods from use while playing online.

Mods are something you can add to a game that are not meant for the game.

Like if you have blood in a game it is red right well if someone has a mod on there server the blood could be green blue, yellow, purple or any other color

Mods examples

Jumping as high as buildings

Make the players Big or small

So if they have No Mods then they are just saying that it is a normal game with nothing added to it
