I was wondering which school is better, they both are looking forward for me to attending but I don't know which one to choose I heard they both are known as top leaders in theatre internationaly and nation wide. I just need to know that if I wanted to be a Hollywood or Bollywood actor which one would they perfer and why?

I want to be a actor only - not a director, not the person behind the set, I want to be the actor so which school is best for film acting, not film directing?

The best actors don't go to College for acting school. The best and most prolific Theatre program is Yale's MFA. There are dozens of major actors from that program who are tops.

The best acting teacher of our era is Sandra Seacat. She taught Mickey Rourke, Lance Henriksen, Leonardo DiCaprio, and dozens of other great actors. In my opinion, Mickey Rourke(when he was young) is easily the best actor of his generation. All of the 90s guys and beyond copy him.

Sandra Seacat studied under Lee Strasberg.

For film? I've heard more kudos for NYU's Tisch. Also, you have transit access to other SAG cities such as D.C. and Philly if you live in NYC. Eventually you'll have to spend some time in LA but, in my opinion, the Big Apple is a great place to start as an actor if you can afford the rent! :-)

i come from Singapore and honestly here... NYU has greater prestige and a majority of our great performers aspire to go there. USC is hardly mentioned. It could be politics.
